The whole licence thing is rubbish anyway, visitors cannot get a licence, so, legally speaking, they aren't allowed to drink. But they do.

Go figure.

It's a money making and control thing that is way past it's sell by date. Expect it to be included in Emirates ID - as will Driving licence and every other detail of your UAE life - mobile numbers, place you live, etc. etc.

1) It's short for a Raccoon
2) It's the nickname of a comic superhero who is 8 years old.
