Al Khor Beach Party - Doha
Ahlan everyone :)
If you are in Doha during Eid holidays, then I am planning to organise a beach party at Al Khor beach. Proposed date is 28th of October 2:00PM onwards, trying to avoid Friday and Saturday on purpose as it might be really busy. We can all bring some food and drinks and share.. We'll have sun, beach and some shaded areas for relaxing. Any takers? pls shout on main forum and also PM me with your digits. |

Re: Al Khor Beach Party - Doha
Al Khor is a proper toilet plus my advice is keep away from booze on the beach in Qatar especially at Eid , you'll end up in Mushrieb nick !
Save yourself the hassel and go to the Intercon or do the sensible thing and escape for a few days . |

Re: Al Khor Beach Party - Doha
You can't consume alcohol in a public place, only in your home or a licensed bar.
You are in Qatar, you should know this. No one would be that stupid |

(i) 5* hotels are licensed to sell alcohol to expats for consumption on the premises (except during the month or Ramadan), and (ii) If you have a Residency Permit and your Sponsor's permission, you can obtain a liquor license to purchase alcohol from a single outlet (Qatar Distribution Company) for direct transport to and personal consumption at home. Otherwise harsh penalties apply (arrest, imprisonment and deportation). There is also a zero limit on blood alcohol level if driving, so the morning after scenario is a real constraint. [J] |

I'd use my Eid to brush up on some basic do's and dont's whilst living in an Islamic shithole mate .
