Hi all,

can anybody explain to me how I get access to Al Jazeera Sports channel on TV? I have OSN package and they do not provide Al Jazeera. I dont want to subscribe to Evision as I already have OSN. How do I subsrbie to Al Jazeera on a stand-alone basis? do I have to buy a card and a receiver? where?
Euro 2012 and I realize OSN does not show the games!!
PS: I'm in Abu Dhabi

you have to buy an al jazeera sports card. go to electra black sign next to lay by opp side of sands hotel, they have the card for 1 year ony 399 on offer last month, dont know about june. if you have a humax decorder then it will work, if you have the osn only decorder then it wont, as the osn is tyed to card.

you can get it for 150AED for 3 months or a year for around 300 as mentioned,


full HD package but you will need another decoder. It works with the AD Sport decoder in the 2nd slot which is 400AED a year so for 700 you can watch football 24/7 and ditch OSN

OSN aren't proud............ you can get it from them as an add-on top-up jobby. Can't remember the price but it's a one-year-minimum deal.

well when i asked about osn they said they dont do al jazeera anymore so you couldnt top up. you had to buy direct.

Personally I wouldn't watch Euro 2012 at home even if it was free. Much better to enjoy the atmosphere in a pub full of Germans, Irish or whoevers.

nah.... they didnt have any 3 month ones, its not a lot of money so i am not bothered, it would take me longer walking around in and out looking for it. it was only like another 100 or so more for the year one.

The problem with OSN is that the top-of-the-range Showbox only has one card slot and you can't just remove the OSN card and put in a Jazeera card.

The previous box had two card slots, it's baffled me for a while now why they didn't design the new box with two slots, particularly as OSN now have very little sport anyone would want to watch (although they are showing some of the upcoming rugby which is good).

Hi all

I have just moved to Abu Dhabi. I have osn in my villa and bought a humax ir3025hd but when connecting it to the sat via the osn satalite cable I have no signal to the box. The car has been activated also by myself

Any ideas or help would be welcomed
