Advice on clothes and what to wear
Hi all - can you please give me some advice on what to wear in the UAE. What is acceptable and what is best. I am coming over in January for a month prior to our permanent move. Thanks

errr.... do some research sweetie, it isn't hard, let Google be your friend.
If you are coming from normal places in the UK then wear your usual day wear. But if you are coming from Essex or Russia then don't wear your normal day wear!! lol
However, on a more helpful note....

Re: Advice on clothes and what to wear
Thanks Patsy - Trust me, Google and I are the best of mates (although sometimes I wonder myself ) and I spend most of my spare time trying to find out as much as possible about what will become my new home - it is a really daunting prospect for those of us who are not there yet and it is really great to get advice from those living and experiencing the UAE right now. The link is great thanks very much (wish I had found it before posting my question on here - but I did Google miss - honest ) - a little light bedtime reading for me
