I live in Abu Dhabi. Didn't want to know anything in particular just chit chat and sharing suggestions on everyday living really :-)

Rubydo. There is nothing for anyone under 55 to do in Abu dhabi. It's gods waiting room for expats. A bit like Lytham St annes but without decent fish and chips

Correct with one and almost with the other
Still too young for AD and all those lovely comfy slippers in Marks and Sparks

Nothing wrong with a good pair of slippers especially on these marble floors ! It's not a bad night out round here to be fair

It's funny - Dubai expats frequently seem to despise Abu Dhabi. Whereas most Abu Dhabians that I know seem to think that Dubai is a nice place to visit on occasion, but wouldn't want to live there.

Yeah I totally agree with that, I would probably feel different had I not lived in AD 1st but I do like to visit Dubai but then leave, not really sure what the reason is- maybe too busy.
AD is still around 10 years behind Dubai I suppose so a little quieter

Abu Dhabi: Even in rush hour, 20km takes me half an hour. We eat out 2 or 3 times a week, dance till 4 occasionally, play sport 2-3 times a week. T'is a true hardship.
