Anybody know of a decent cheapish hotel for 1 night ? Im going to watch the footie at Sheikh Zayed Stadium so somewhere close, nightlife suggestions ?

How cheap do you want?

Mid price hotels might be an option. The new Aloft Hotel at ADNEC is doing special opening rates of about 500dhs.

Not sure what the bars are like there though.

Another option might be the One to One Hotel. Is around the centre of the island so not too far from the stadiums and not too far from the main nightlife (both a shortish taxi ride away).

The new Rotana (Park) is doing very good opening offers. its situated between the 2 bridges. I think it was offering around 700AED which is very reasonable for Abu Dhabi. I agree that Traders is a good option, it is in brill location for bars (left bank) etc. Most hotels are offering Eid special offers at the moment.

the new holiday inn is also very close to stadium...no nightlife there though...
