Well I've been in Dubai for 2.5 years now and still haven't found any work here..all my work is from Australia and Papua New Guinea..big projects for which I am grateful. So I'm living here just as a tax exile !

Aye, a lot of my customer based work is outside the UAE... In Kuwait just now, heading for Saudi at the end of the week, and looks like Ill have to head to Houston for a month or so pretty soon....

If any of these Nigerian scam emails contain a phone number then write it down, and then if when you are looking for somewhere to park and find some twat has parked across two spaces write a little note saying "Sorry about the dent, give me a call on (include the nigerian number) and we'll sort out the money for repair."

Actually i spent 4 months in Nigeria last year, and have probably got another 4 coming this year.
To be honest, i had no problems in Lagos and the bars were excellent.

Granted, you would not get me in the Delta, but Abuja and Lagos were no different to anywhere else in terms of risk
