Otherwise, you might as well suggest that there's something suspicious about the way the internal combustion engine works, that the scientific explanation for that is all wrong, and in fact inside each engine is group of genetically-engineered mutants who use telekinesis to move the car in accordance with instructions from the Bilderberg Group. The petrol we put into the car is actually what the mutants eat.
