Right you lot - are you all slipping into premature Alzheimers??? So far in our nominated 1980s films we've had Marathon Man and Star Wars (1977)........ I'll have a quick look again and edit............

Yikes, I just read somewhere else that two of my suggestions are also not strictly from the '80s: Apocalypse Now is 1979 and Total Recall is 1990 - I would still argue that both are really "eighties films" though...
