Re: 80's Films
Forgetting that's as bad as forgetting The Long Good Friday. Nicholson at his comedic finest. And-for what its worth-the Japanese language version has the line "His penis bends the wrong way" translated as "His penis bends downwards". Now you know.

Re: 80's Films
All the films posted above are pretty iconic of the 80's and great watching.
A film that I particularly enjoyed from the 80's is No Surrender. All gallows humour. It's backdrop was in Liverpool and funny as hell. The writer was the same guy who wrote the Boys from the Blackstuff. I wish I could watch it again but finding it would be

Re: 80's Films
Many of the previously mentioned especially Terminator, Blade Runner, Long Good Friday plus:
Apocalypse Now (can't believe it hasn't come up yet)
Heaven's Gate (supposed disaster but I was mesmerised)
Once Upon a Time In America
My Beautiful Laundrette
Radio Days (Woody Allen's most neglected gem)
King of Comedy
She's Gotta Have it
Total Recall
'Round Midnight (amazing performance from Jazz maestro Dexter Gordon in his first and only film)
Raging Bull
Airplane (how has that been missed?)
Airplane 2 (same jokes, still funny)
Enemy Mine (an odd and touching sci-fi movie in which Lou Gossett palyed an alien who got pregnant by Dennis Quaid - you had to see it...)
So many...
