Sad story and I must salute the wife's commitment but the havoc this long term coma wrecks on the physical body is torturous in my opinion. Euthanasia should have been considered a long long long time ago in my opinion.

Such a sad story. Am also really impressed with his wife's dedication.

The bit I don't get is that he "hasn't aged" (apart from some grey/white hairs). Is that normal in a coma?

Nor would one see much of the sun - which is purported to be the biggest issue with ageing - apart from smoking, which is pretty hard to do in a coma too.

Yes, but he's gone from 34 to 66......... must be some signs of ageing/aging, surely?

Tragic story. Fair play to his wife.

His wife is something else. My mom is the same way, total and unrelenting dedication to the family no matter how hard it is for her.
