Default 3 days/nights in Jordan....

Hotel recommends?

Things to do?

I have the Wadi Musa info and have been reading through tripadvisor, but you just cant get a bit of mark1 intel.

any suggestions are welcome.

Either that or we are going to take a flight to Beruit and explore Lebanon. Again, never been there but my office is full of Lebanese so ill get recommends there pretty easily, although you guys may have some "must see" suggestions.

Thanks.

UK nationals advised not to travel to Leb. They upped the level few weeks back. https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/lebanon Beirut is fun though.

Did 3 nights in Jordan over easter with wife and kids and crappy hire car.

Very nice indeed. Stunning scenery throughout the country.

Night 1 Hilton Double Tree Aqaba - had free access to great Beach Club called Bernice Beach Bar which is a 10 min drive towards the Saudi Border. Swim to your heart's delight in the Red Sea. Public beaches a bit grim few families sleeping rough when I went for my 6am run along the Corniche. Wadi Musa is in striking distance of Aqaba.

Night 2 Petra Moon - decent location for doing the tombs, hotel fine

Night 3 Holiday Inn Resort Dead Sea - big sprawling resort on banks of Dead Sea close to Amman - lights of Jerusalem flickering in the distance. You cannot do any tri training in the Dead Sea - impossible ;-)
