2014 is in Brazil, so after Africa (2010) and South America, Europe would be the next logical choice.
England are the only logical choice among the European bidders, if we rule out joint bids (as we should). Bangleman's mate's concerns are valid up to a point but those observations are equally if not more applicable to some of the other European bidders, surely?
A shortage of good hotels near stadiums in London, Birmingham, Newcastle, Liverpool and Manchester? Don't think so.

I wish it would be australia but as fifa said the next two world cup 2010 and 2014 will be at southern hemisphere that would turn the luch to England probably.
