No.8 winds me up. 20 odd years of living where ques are irrelevant and it still pisses me off. Must be deeply ingrained

Is queueing just a British thing, or good sense and good manners?

No7 The culprit is invariably American and sounds like Dick Van Dyke.

Windscreen wipers are called wishie washies? Perhaps in toddler circles...

It's a silly list, I will post it on Facebook naturally.

I'd imagine #12 would annoy anybody, unless ofcourse the person was hot

Similar to No.12 is the non-English family (usually Greek) who insist on sitting down next to you on the beach, when you are the only ones there.

Queue one bugs me senseless.

It's just not difficult, in my eyes pushing in front is as rude as just turning to someone and saying; "I'm more important that you, well I think I am anyway, so I'm just going to get served first."

Bastards.

I quite like it! It give me the opportunity to say very loudly something along the lines of ''Excuse me, EXCUSE me! There is a queue here for a reason. Please get to the back of it and wait your turn like a civilised person. Manners cost nothing don't you know''.

It seems to happen most often in petrol stations these days. 90% of the time they take the hint and scuttle to the back. The other 10% of the time I manage to get an argument out of it. Great fun and brightens up a boring day!

Tragic thing is, a lot of the time I get cut in front of by Western folk.

But, they are the most fun to tell off. Especially middle aged women. Made even better when they turn around and get greeted by someone the age of their kids. Somehow, even more enjoyable because it's like telling my Mum off.

I should enjoy it, but unfortunately a lot of the time it's an Indian lad pushing in front at Spinneys to pay for one bottle of something and I generally let them be....if they asked, it would be nice but not worth the bother.

was in hamleys with my son a few weeks ago and this middle aged brit trollop pushes in front of us as i'm bent down talking to him, with perfect timing my son starts to throw a mini wobbler because we're stuck waiting for a while and hes now bored. i get to explain that its taking a while because the rude lady in front thinks shes more important than you and we will just have to wait a while longer.

See and there lies the point! If they ask then I'd let them in front in an instant if They only have a bottle of water or whatever. However, 90% of the time I only have one item and would never think of doing the same!
