Really, uncritically absorbing and regurgitating the Daily Mail view of the world leaves you remarkably poorly equipped to deal with the actual reality here on planet earth. I never laugh or mock other's misfortunes but am glad you got taught a lesson, so learn from it and move on, hopefully not to a Muslim country as according to you, you'll get kidnapped and other sorts of nasty stuff.

Do yourself a favour, just go back to the pub, have a couple of more pints, blame Arabs and Muslims for all your woes and issues and you'll be fine...

It is amusing to now see you now trying to clumsily lurch away from it with a combination of flailing counter-punches (name-calling and personal insults) and spurious claims to have not been talking about all Muslims. It is simply a viciously hateful attack on Muslims with no qualification whatsoever.

Having said that, I live and work in ME, and I wouldn't trust an Arab/Indian as far as I could trip them up.

That said there are a fair few "Westerners" I feel the same way about, HOWEVER, there are plenty i do trust, but still, after 8 years, I've not found an Arab or Indian that I trust implicitly.

Maybe cos I'm a racist/homophobic/Jew hating islamophobe.

It has been interesting reading your posts. What you need to realise is that we do not live in Utopia, and in the Middle East (let's just keep it that way as this forum is focusing on the region) things are not the same as Europe or many other regions globally.

I've been here a good few years and must say the way the countries have changed and adapted is admirable (it took European countries a little longer to embrace change). The majority of the countries are accommodating and believe it or not, a lot of the Muslims (no, nearer 99%) are the same as anyone from any other part of the world (and I challenge you to show me any religion/culture that is 100%). If you are serious about moving here you need to take a step back and think is this really the right move for you.

Wrong or right (in whoevers eyes), this is the way it is (and has been for centuries).

I know/work with a lot of Egyptians and I have no issues apart from trust. And almost all of them I like and spend time socialising with.

Honestly speaking, there is less than a handful I trust, and this comes from a lot of bad experiences.

And slightly off topic, there is no way they built the pyramids.
