St. Lucia Treasure Bay Casino
 

Hello everybody...

I applied for a job at the new Treasure Bay casino in St. Lucia on a whim a while back and have recently received a response that they want to give me a telephone interview (I thought I'd not been accepted as they took so long to get back).

Does anyone know anything about this casino? Is it open or even built yet? I read a couple of webpages that said the licence had been approved in 2006! I don't even know where it is on the island (I think in the North).

Any information at all about this development would be very much appreciated.

As far as i know the casino is part of a new complex being built at Rodney Bay opposite the Mall. When we were last on the island in April there was a lot of activity on site as they were trying to get it completed in time for Jazz Festival in May. I'm not sure if they achieved this as it did seem a bit optomistic. It is quite possible it could be complete and open by now though

I am in St Lucia now and there still seems a lot of work going on in the building where the casino is supposed to be housed. Very modern looking though by St lucian standards. I do not think it is open yet. And the new big shopping mall in rodney bay is still being worked on. Should all be ready soon, maybe a couple of months away.

Thanks for all the info so far guys. And for the picture. I've been researching Rodney Bay and St. Lucia in general and it all sounds pretty great. Still nothing new online about the actual casino so if anyone still has some new information it would be very much appreciated...
