Point 1 assumes that her husband doesn't have income of £18,600. To the extent that he has ANY income reduces the fraction of £62,500 according to the formula £62,500-((£62,500-£16,000)× [income]/£18,600 +£16,000)

Some of the news reports say that her husband is on benefits. He had an operation and has been in recovery, but has recently been re-assessed as fit to work.

If you are in the US then they'll help with a warrant from police for the information. Otherwise they won't divulge any information about accounts. Read the privacy policies on their website.
