Never too early  I do it each year, start the countdown to the next UK trip as soon as I get back - gives me something to aim for!

When I worked in Saudi I counted it on hair cuts, one hair cut per month fourth hair cut home! Now counting down in sleeps 15 more to go and we are home from Dubai for good! Yeah bring it on, after 3 years have had enough.

Old two bucket syndrom one for money, one for crap and which ever is full first it time to go, think my bucket is steaming

Oh dear, sorry, just my mind going a zillion miles an hour.

Triboy has 16 (now 15) more get ups before he leaves Aus. I have 18 (well 17 now as I have just got up today!) before I leave - but just for a holiday unfortunately.

Usually I set my pda (Palm diary thingie) to count down the days for me so that when I look at the calendar every day I know how many more get ups I have before I can get on the plane and leave for my sanity hit. My palm will count down from 99 days (because it is a useful little gadget). For times longer than the 99 days, I actually go with the "haircut" and "haircut and colour" schedule as well!!!

Frome is somewhere I don't know that much about. Been there a few times but mostly through it. Went there on my last trip home as we did the Xmas food shopping at Asda.

I wanted to go to Waitrose in Bath but my parents gave me that 'you're no son of ours, where did we go so wrong' kind of look.

Small world - family live just outside Bristol now, I was born near Glastonbury, and my Mum has spent most of her life in Frome - grew up there, and moved back there for several years when we all left home.
