Plugs
We have quite a few small appliances and also our washing machine and fridge freezer we intend to take back with us as they are all good quality and i dont want to lose them, but obviously the Aussie plugs wont work in UK. Is it simple enough to just change the plugs to UK ones or would i need a few adaptor plugs like the travel ones? If this is the case where would i find them in Australia?

Re: Plugs
Hi Flea,
I have done this both ways. We took some appliances from OZ over to the UK and just used the adaptors. When we moved back to OZ with appliances we purchased in the UK, I just got my dad to change the plugs over, so I am sure you will be able to do the same over there. Then you will not have to have buy heaps of adaptors for all your goods. Hope this helps.

The travel ones work fine. You can get them from anywhere - airport, electrical outlets etc. Shouldn't be a problem.
