I guess what Im asking is after you completed the course did the craving come back and how bad was it?
Rodney.
Rodney I have never smoked (I am so lucky that it just never appealed) but if the cravings do come back--and I SO hope they do not!--I know that many people have been helped by Allen Carr's book The Easy Way to Stop Smoking.

But maybe you won't need any further help--I gather that the fact you WANT to stop, and set a date to stop, and did stop on that date, will all be really helpful, as so much of it is psychological. (I think this is Carr's approach).

Also, think about how the doctors say after stopping for even one month, or six weeks I think it is now almost?--your lungs and whole body are ALREADY showing the benefits, already cleaner, healthier, and working better...

So, tho it's cheeky of me as I have never suffered with this particular addiction (now potato chips/crisps--that's another story!), I add my voice to everyone else's--

WELL DONE for having come so far! And DON'T go backwards!!

Tina

Hi Mum very good point you make there,

Thanks Tina, you know the strange thing is that my Sister and I have smoked since we were teenagers but our Mum & Dad never smoked or drank, my Mum is still the same with drink and she wont have more then a glass of wine or gin whenever normally Christmas and her Birthday, I always remember my Dad always had a beer shandy at Christmas, sometimes he was offered another and he would say no better not I might get drunk and my wife would divorce me and then he would laugh, you know he was only joking.

That's interesting, my parents did both smoke, and yet I never wanted to try...

OK folks it's now 15 sleeps away for me.

Spent all day sifting and sorting, OMG soooo much stuff, why oh why did I ever feel the need to buy it all LOL!!

My daughter and her fiancee came up today to pick up some stuff and to help me take down beds, etc.

Young couple will be here tomorrow to pick up my furniture, so now this is REALLY REAL!!!

Before I could have just cancelled my ticket and lost $330.00 for the cancellation and just carried on with my life, but now there is no turning back!!!!
