Just heard back this afternoon and everything is a GO. There are a few issues which we expected but to be honest we have managed to get the property at a fair price. The present owners are happy to complete quickly so if all goes well we could be in in 2-3 weeks.

Hello Dunroving, I don't know which way you are asking about, (Too or From) but for my first year of transferring money here for paying the wages for the builders of these places, Lloyds TSB, always used the two Swift Codes, for UK and Bangkok Bank, on every weekly transfer - they had long lists which they consulted - I didn't think they would discover them for the whole of Thailand, but they did. - This City, is very near the border with Laos. - When located, it clearly shows the full address - although it is spelled wrongly! HighTide...Do you have to pay a tax when you buy the house here in the US you do. I forget what its called. You pay so much on each $1,000. By the way are you going to have a housewarming party and are we all invited. I love the stone. We spent a lovely holiday in Brixham I think it was at a holiday camp.
