I find it hard to believe in any of these stories manufactured in the MI5 Fairy-Tale Production Unit.

Craig Murray is a well-known fruit loop. I wouldn’t waste time on any of his drivel.

The easy way to dismiss someone. Question his sanity.. For me the fruit loop is BoJo and his "eminence grise" Cummings.

I’m sure his a lot of his writing chimes with your worldview so you’re inclined to think he’s a credible source but that doesn’t stop it from being nonsense. That first paragraph alone is a dead giveaway.

He spends five of the first six paragraphs explaining "open source reporting". Either he thinks his readers are idiots, or he is one himself!

I enjoyed reading about the imaginary security clearances he claimed to have held - not just Top Secret, but Above Top Secret!

You might imagine the security clearances above Top Secret are imaginary, but unless you have clearance above Top Secret you wouldn't know, surely?
Only Number 1 would know everything.

In that case maybe he shouldn’t be talking about it on the internet. I can’t imagine Number 1 would be very happy about that. “This organisation does not tolerate failure...”

In all seriousness he would’ve been DV (Developed Vetting) cleared whilst at the FCO, which gives you unsupervised access to Top Secret material, but there are an awful lot of people with DV clearance. It’s nothing special. All information remains compartmentalised so unless it is directly relevant to your work you still can’t access it. The way he writes though it’s like he has some kind of special inside knowledge. Like Pulaski said, he assumes his readership are so clueless he starts to look clueless himself.

The whole thing reminds me of The Zinoviev Letter when an earlier generation of Tories were trying scare us all. "The Daily Mail" still gets up to tricks like this - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zinoviev_letter

Unfortunately in 2020, thanks to the "help" of technology, the clueless can start their own entirely baseless nonsense.

It is all over the place. Astonishing that 150 years of universal and compulsory education and the toiling masses are still clueless about what is going on !

Unfortunately over the past 25-30 years or so, the mainstream media has mostly switched over to presenting opinion pieces instead of objective reporting i.e. more "informing readers what to think" than "informing people".

Has anyone noticed how the mainstream Media in the Anglosphere presents Putin as an evil mastermind like a"Baddie" in a James Bond film ? the stereotypes and memes created by Ian Fleming live on.
