I cannot believe that a gel, allegedly smeared or painted onto the doorknob, migrated upwards to get into the roof of a two storey house, in such a manner that the roof had to be destroyed, but the house in between did not
The replacement of the roof timbers is a "precautionary measure".
Speaking to BBC Radio Wiltshire, Alistair Cunningham, the chair of the recovery coordination group, said: "the whole house had to be searched, including the roof space. We want to be sure no contamination was taken from the door into the roof space. It's a timber structure and when it comes to wood it's more difficult to clean. It's easier to remove."
It's like reading about faked moon landings all over again.

Here is my answer to that question since it has not been answered. Perhaps the Novichok came from porton down. Perhaps the CIA staged the attack perhaps in an attempt to wreck the Russian world cup and cause economic damage after all Russia did spend a of a lot of money on it. There was a lot of pressure for England not to play I seem to recall. If England had have dropped out, how many others in Europe would of and how many would it have taken to have no world cup in Russia? One possibility perhaps

I think Putin worked on the Russian poisoner squad before he was promoted to his current leading role.
I don't trust him. He makes too many rapid defensive media announcements when anything goes wrong that makes Russians appear like guilty culprits.
I didn't read the article, just my opinion as it stands now.
He tries hard to get rid of a reputation he has had for a long time though. It barely works.
