Looking Back

As I look back on my 73 years i sometimes wonder,"What was that all about ? Did it all have any meaning or purpose ?"

Focusing on one day at a time. My mobility is not great. Vision is poor. hearing is going but i am not yet ready to cross over to the other side !

The meaning was everything you created, caused, felt, make others feel, things you did, things others did with you. And more. Life is its own meaning, it doesn't need to be anything else.

And you should most certainly not be ready for the other side! Keep on keeping on.

Scot47, I am a little older than you & everyday I try to remind myself how lucky I am.I am mobile, still got my own knee & hip joints, hearing very good & Specsavers have sorted out my reading difficulty. Not even overweight but these things may all be due to being reared on wartime rations, serving in the Armed Forces & later having a physical outside job.On the downside,my daughter died before me & I am,at present, living away from any other family member. So pleased that, like myself, you are finding something that you think worthwhile still to keep you on this earthly plane.Best wishes to you for that.
