Here in Spain they are not exactly animal lovers as they are in the UK......So you will see some pretty sad and appalling sights. Luckily though this is changing with the younger generation. I can tell you that most of the people that I know of between the ages of say 20 and 40 think bull fighting should be banned..............So even this is a dying activity.

Good and so it should be. I was taken to a bullfight once and sat there in tears praying that the 'brave' Matadors and Picadors would be injured. My lovely sister in law and all her family are against BF'ing and they are also animal lovers, so I know there are some that are decent.

Only ever been to one bullfight in my life as well and thought the whole thing to be horrific. It may suprise you but there are Brits here that actually enjoy it. I guess they think that to like it, is to become part of Spanish culture. You will never see a fair fight becuase the bull is totally drugged into ineffectiveness anyway. Yes it would be nice if one of these macho bastard matadors or picadors got impaled now and again. Interesting fact that the biggest followers of Spanish bullfighting these days are the Japanese, in fact they love most things Spanish. In fact Spanish and Japanese have a lot in common...........Both are bloodthirsty races. Ever watch the Spanish news? Blood and guts all over the place

The cigs are to take to England for a relative as they are cheaper here than there.
And even though I'll be on holiday I suppose I'll be doing all the cooking. I usually end up making mountains of lasagna, homemade pasta sauces, big pans of fresh minestrone soup and other Italian favourites.
The compliments are nice though !
