So here we are at last folks - my last morning in Loony Town - hurrah! The bags are packed (well squished, pummelled and squeezed to death actually!) and I'm off to a nice hotel for my final 4 days
Finally I am getting out of work accommodation too, I know its been a Godsend and saved me heaps but its become a bit of a nightmare recently. When I am here on duty the station phone and/or radio goes off morning, noon and night and when I am off duty Gay Boss is here and same same - feel like I've not had a decent nights sleep in ages.
I've got more news - I now have a total of three job interviews lined up! I'm not sure how I'm going to manage to fit them all in but I guess as Scarlett O'Hara said - I'll think about that tomorrow lol!
Well Gay Boss and I had our final supper last night, a 'bits and pieces' dinner as my Mum would call it made up of all the leftovers in the fridge and freezer. As per usual it was my food, I cooked it, we ate it, he fell asleep in the chair - snoring ha ha! This morning, yep you guessed it, the washing up is still in the sink and as a final gesture I think I shall just wash up too..................nah, only kidding!!!! It can stay there for a month for all I care cos I don't live here anymore woooooooooo hoooooooooooo!!!!!!

Hurrah!!! Have a great time at the posh hotel and hopefully you will be able to get a good nights sleep. Be careful whilst teetering around the pool on those Jimmy Choo's, you don't want to have an unexpected accident, around the pool, and have to call the paramedics.

I know its so cool, I'm really enjoying my last few days - no regrets though
Why thank you! Not putting anything on Facebook cos of recent dramas but having a blast right now lol!

I keep looking at the photos my sister sent me online of my flat all done up and looking fab - looking forward to curling up in my cosy bed for the first time in 5 years and waking up to the sound of seagulls!!!! Ok well its been an emotional couple of days, people have been so awesome so am really ok with everything now and moving on from those idiots who have been hounding me for so long! Funny how my colleagues have not even bothered to say goodbye to me yet the two ladies who are receptionists where I used to get my car serviced bought me a lovely card with such kind words written in it and a box of choccies!
Went back up to Looney Town today as my friend said she wanted to have a look around so up we went. Said some more goodbyes, had an amazing lunch at a waterside restaurant followed by coffee and cake at an amazingly posh resort! I'm glad I went, was a positive experience and I quietly said my goodbyes to the place, no hard feelings, see you later - do I ever want to go back? No. I'm done, closing the door and moving on.....................
We sat by the pool this arvo with another Aussie friend and they were quizzing me as to the top 5 things I would/wouldn't miss. Off the top of my head these were my answers:-
