Both of your examples are illegal because neither of the females would have legally consented to sex.

Both would be dealt with by the legal system. As I pointed out 2 posts ago, Removing a person's citizenship or deporting them is not a court decision, it a political decision outside of the courts.

This is getting boring. The legislation actually states that the Home Secretary only has to believe the person can acquire citizenship of another state. This has been stated in several posts on this thread and the statute has been quoted.

And, by extension, your argument puts a speeder in the same bracket as Ted Bundy. Both broke the law so both should receive the same punishment.

My point is that by removing the criminals from the UK, they cannot re-offend in the UK. Just like DaveLovesDee's idea of shipping criminals off to Antartica.

The only sure way to stop this is for dual nationals to officially renounce their non British Citizenship.

The legal sentencing guidelines give different penalties for speeding and murder.

Both should receive the appropriate sentence for their level of crime. And removing a person's citizenship is not a court penalty but a political one.

And one size can cover all if the size is big enough. It doesn't have to fit (but can with sufficient elastic).

Well, DaveLovesDee you always says that removal of citizenship is a political penalty. Would it be okay if the government pass an Act of Parliament which would enable judges to remove a dual national's British Citizenship as part of sentencing and then recommend removal at the end of prison sentence?

This would take the removal of British Citizenship from dual nationals out of the Home Office's hands.

I'd be a little happier.

I always thought that judges could, as part of the sentence, say they would be deported at the end of their sentence.

Not if "they" are citizens.

No, I would equate a 16 year old boy who has sex with his 15 year old girl friend and has dual citizenship with one who hasn't.

If the convict is a British citizen, not since 1868, when they stopped transportation to Australia.

Well it's high time they brought it back in.. so I'm with the government on this one, although on the transportation front the 'criminals' were always offeref passage back to Britain once their sentence was finished, the fact that most decided to stay was immaterial, but many of them were married in Britain, but decided to stay and 'marry' the woman they had met over there.

You are not thinking this through.

So what am I missing, I'm a law abiding citizen, and it seems to me that a law allowing the UK to get rid of these immigrany sex pests, hate and racism preachers like those who they have wanted to be rid of for years but have always lost because they are Citizens, is smething that should be applaude, surely you don't think they will use it to get rid of soemone who parks theur car in the wring place. However I'm in favour of the UK doing something to rid us of these undesirables, so as far as I'm concerned that's my last post on the subject and I'm out of this thread.
