Good news.
We now know 3 people in their 80s near us who have had the vaccine, plus we’ve heard of friends of friends in their 80’s that have now had it. One of my wife’s friends is a nurse at our local hospital and she not only has been vaccinated but is herself now a vaccinator and reports giving lots of vaccinations to hospital staff, patients and outpatients who happen to be over 80. She said those folks in their 80s who come in for a regular appointment are delighted to be offered the vaccine.
