Change of address to HMRC

Change of address to HMRC
I was paying Class 2 contributions while in the USA and wanted to let them know I had returned. I found a place to change address online, but it occured to me that that might just be for in-country changes, and that I might need to notify them some other way also. Possibly by phone, I know, but we won't have a landline for another two weeks. Any suggestions?

It can take AGES to get through to HMRC! So, not sure of the best method. Maybe the change of address form will suffice at least until you have a landline.

Re: Change of address to HMRC
Don't know if this helps - but an experience I had a couple of years ago. I phoned HMRC on an intra UK no and spent 20 minutes keying into & talking to a computer, in excruciating detail, only finally to to hear a message "sorry, we are too busy right now", followed by a click & a dead line. I then called back using a +44 number & got through, instantly, to a very helpful person who sorted my query immediately.

Thanks everyone
The reason I am unsure that the usual COA process is sufficient is because they have had my overseas address for years, and it might require some other advanced notification for them to stop sending me payment due mail there.
I only have a 30 sim card plan right now so playing it safe by not calling anywhere where I could be on the phone for ages. Interesting about the international line though.
Would you mind sharing that +44 phone and how I dial that within the UK? Thanks again.

I don't have the number to hand, try their website, also just put 0044 instead of the start code (ie 0044 instead of 023).
