CANZUK movement

what are your thoughts on the CANZUK movement post brexit? Basically it’s free movement of goods, services and people between UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Google it if you interested in learning more...

Citizens from any of the four countries can move, work, live and settle in one another without acquiring any visa, do you think it’s a good idea despite impact on social services, health care and local jobs (but they had the same issue with UK being in the EU), if this initiative ever goes ahead, instead of seeing migrants from Poland and Romania in London, you will probably end up with many aussies and kiwis, or vice vesa, I know for sure lots of brits will be moving down under! Uncle Sam is not part of this movement for the obvious reason. And the political impact on the former (probably still) anglosphere...

Your thoughts folks? Will it actually happen in our life time I wonder..

Been discussed many times. Never going to happen with Australia, they will never abandon their visa system.

We already have dual UK/Can citizenship and have absolutely no interest in the Antipodes. I'll take the EU thank you so much.

Shouldn’t Jamaica be part of this initiative too? JACANZUK. After all, the Queen is head of state of Jamaica too, so it falls into the same category as the other four countries. Can’t see anything that’s different about Jamaica.

Re: CANZUK movement

Canada, Australia and NZ are already fairly straightforward for skilled Brits to get to (within reason), so what's the benefit to them in opening up their immigration systems to unlimited, unskilled migration from the UK?

They can already get all the skilled labor they want from their existing immigration systems.

Sounds to me like The BIF are at work. These guys - http://www.britishisrael.co.uk/beliefs.php

Herbert Armstrong and all those other sects and cults that believe the supremacy of The White Race is manifested through The British Empire. Looney Tunes.

Canada is culturally closer to the USA than the UK. Australia has a republican movement for a reason.
NZ isn't as republican as Aus but it has a distinct identity. This won't fly and is a fantasy of neo colonialists.

and lunatic "commonwealthers" who think that a revamped commonwealth is a substitute for the EU.
