Two weeks ago I finally began watching Breaking Bad. I watched all 62 episodes, finishing up last night.

Absolutely fantastic but aside from Doctor Who I've seen nothing else.

It'll be good to see something different, but it's still going to be back catalogue type stuff that I have saved. I'm hoping much of it will be disappointing or else I'll never get around to newer things.

No doubt about it, Breaking Bad is one of those great unique shows that comes up once in a while. In the end, I was glad it was coming to a close; it got darker and darker and darker. Even the creator Vince Gilligan echoed that sentiment.

Last night I found an amazing documentary: Searching for Sugar Man. It received both the BAFTA and Oscar for best documentary but for some reason I had never heard of it. Netflix recommended it to me with 5 stars so I thought well let's give it a try. It became more and more riveting for me as it went on and I rated it with 5 stars myself... a rarity. Highly recommend watching it. Would like to say a lot more but don't want to spoil it for those of you who haven't seen it.

I see there are a few shows that have shown up on iplayers overnight so will investigate those later after I get some work done around here!

As soon as you posted about Sugarman I remembered the director. I must be a morbid person but I remember him because he did brilliant job with this documentary but died this year at age 36! He committed suicide. Who knows what demons people have... Sad anyway..

Watched the first episode of The Secrets, The Dilemma. Alison Steadman and Olivia Coleman. Excellent. Binge watched all the others (they are all half hour mini dramas) but didn't like any of them.

I'm watching 'This is England'. The full movie is available on Youtube outside the UK. Had to turn off the Uk VPN to get it.

p.s. Really enjoying the Swedish drama "Crimes of Passion" and 'Chasing Shadows'.

Anyone else watching Cilla on ITV? Sherida Smith (aka Smithy's sister in Gavin and Stacey) does a phenomenal job as Cilla Black.

She played a good part. I wouldn't say the first episode was brilliant...but it's worth watching.
