But seriously when you say you found it on stream do you mean YouTube or something else......
The first episode was shown in cinemas 2 or 3 weeks before it was on telly.

So a week later, being a big kid who couldn't wait, I googled "watch doctor who" and "deep breath" (the episode title) and found a site. I don't recall which one but it was a simple play there and then or save for later.

It was watchable and black and white. Not that there's anything wrong with B&W but for some reason the effects didn't look good. And there was no 'teaser' for the next one which is part of the fun

There was also text on screen throughout. Like this.

Not great, but I really couldn't wait.

This picture is actually from next week's episode as it's possible to watch ahead of time ()again but this time I will wait.

It's on BBC's iPlayer so quickly - it was there within an hour of the BBC broadcast ending. It was also on the Space website the following morning...maybe even earlier. Plus it was on the usual regular and reliable sites like vodly and primewire.

If you can watch it BBC quality at 6.00 pm Atlantic Time when it's been on in England at 7.00 pm, then why hunt for a stream?

Of course, the episodes are on Space TV on the same evening too. But we recently cut back on our TV package and we don't get that now. Who needs it with iPlayer?

I am a Vera fan too. Here is another one for your list - The Secrets, BBC 1 @ 10.40 pm this Sunday. Drama in 5 parts with individual stories, presumably centred around secrets. The trailer looks interesting.

It looks like the new Inspector George Gently will be starting soon as well.

But that's only the one where the celebs are paired up with the professional dancers, the real business starts in about 3 or 4 weeks.

All I can say is thank goodness all these shows are coming up. I'm desperate for something good to watch.

I watched "Chasing Shadows' this week and definitely starting to get intriqued. But all evening I've been searching for something and everything I try seems to be complete garbage.

We've been watching "Boomers" on BBC iplayer, not your riveting suspense type drama but a light-hearted good for a giggle type thing - cast includes Alison Steadman, Russ Abbot, June Whitfield and for you Dynasty lovers, Stephanie Beacham.

That sounds perfect. With all the horrors going on in the world and this ****** Referendum looming I need some light escapism.
