Broadchurch and Other UK TV Programs

Re: Broadchurch and Other UK TV Programs
Tracks across America, a rail journey Chicago to New York 'the long way', the scenery and places visited are really interesting BUT, I'm sorry to say having Billy Connelly presenting isn't working, he suffers from Parkinsons, which he does talk about in the first episode, but he's really a shadow of the brilliant comedian who presented the earlier journeys, and it's a real shame to see him trying to be what he once was.

When I was a child I met Gerald Durrell when he came to give the prizes at my school. I was a fan of his books and I treasured my autographed copy of My Family and Other Animals for years afterwards. I was out on Sunday evening, but I'm looking forward to watching the first episode on Catch-Up.

Have signed up for a free 30 day trial of the British TV service Acorn TV just so we could see season 2 of Detectorists. Will see what else they have on offer that I may have missed.

I must say I amloving the tv back here. I watch The Durrells on ITV Hub because I am watching other programs and taping on Sun. Watching 3 detective series at the same time is getting confusing, I keep remembering the plot of one while watching another so thank goodness they give you snippets of "last time on xxx" lol

Very disappointed in the new series of Scott and Bailey. It's not got the brilliant wit now the DI has left. Shame because it was such a good series.

Sometimes I have football on the TV while prioritising a Rugby International on the laptop. I find I glance over to the TV and expect one of the players to catch the ball.

I too love my British TV, especially BBC dramas and used to watch a lot on BBC iPlayer when I was abroad, using a VPN. Now I see they are thinking of charging people for watching iPlayer as it seems a lot use it to avoid paying for a TV license. Well, maybe no longer!
