Driving on the motorway in Rush hour through Manchester city centre yesterday was neverracking though.. will have to get my confidence back and take it slowley. And about the cost of things:- It definately IS cheaper in the Uk for just about everything (except houseprices of course).. you should have seen our shopping trolley LOL. Have noticed that even in the short time we have been away, the cost of electrical goods have fallen dramatically!! DVD players for a fiver LOL. So im guessing a fridge wont cost 3000 GBP then? LOL AKA 6,500/7000 AUD Gotta love the UK!! |

God you guys on this thread are making me real jealous. We only have three more weeks to endure then were off to Honolulu for 2 days, Vancouver for 3 then sunny scotia here we come. Looking forward to a piece in slice sausage (on plain bread of course) and a decent can of Irn Bru!! And a real guid fish supper. Good luck to those of you who have tried the Aussie/NZ way of life and for those of you who are staying.
