This did not work, maybe the person at AIG we spoke this time was one of the more professional 
But it was a pleasure to speak directly with a person that really had knowledge. Unfortunately that happened not at the Kurnia we visited later.
What surprised me a lot is that both companies offered a huge discount when making the contract directly with them in their (main) office and not one of their agents. 15 % at AIG, even 20 or 25 (don´t remember exactly) at Kurnia (if this is true).

I think this is probably correct about the discounts. Certainly I get a discount on home insurance and car insurance by going direct with my provider.
