Default Certifying a "Certificate of life"

I can't find an older thread discussing this topic, so here I start a new topic.
A pension fund is about to start paying me money. As I am not living in my home country am I being asked to annually submit a "Certificate of life". This Certificate is a one-page form by the pension fund containing my name and address details. It needs to be signed and stamped by an approved authority. The pension fund mentions as official authorities: a Municipality, a Municipal authority, a local government body, the police or a civil-law notary. I'm don't know whether a "Justice of the Peace" or "Commissioner for Oaths" are known institutes in Malaysia. These would be accepted as well. Not accepted are signatures from a bank, medical doctor or lawyer.

I am living in Penang. What recommendations do the readers of this forum have? Where should I go? What is the easiest/cheapest/fastest/... solution? In case you don't want to reply in public, feel free to send me a PM with your recommendation.

Thanks for your advice. Google did not help me much. But using this search term in Google Maps helped me somewhat.

Depending on what you need yep a Commissioner of Oaths, cheapest at ~RM10 or so, or a notary public that will be ~RM60. I had to get some documents signed when I started to draw my pension last year I went to the Commissioner of oaths at 20, Lebuh King, George Town, however, certain documents she cannot legally certify so she directed me to a notary behind Sri Weld food court on beach street, sorry I don't recall the name but it was the large building at the back of the car park.

1) "notary services from Dalat school in Penang"
2) gibblawyers.com/notary-public-penang/
+604 261 1877
Notary Public Penang Service For Attestation Of Documents & Notarization. Appointed By The Attorney General Chambers Of Malaysia.
3) Type NOTARY in google maps 'Neaby'- there are a lot of results there.
