Morocco, Agadir, for a few winter months.

We are planning a long term stay near Agadir and have seen some lovely villages just north of the town. Has anyone got any recommendations at all please. Thank you.

Not exactly a village, but Essaouira about 2 hours up the coast is good place to stay, although it's far smaller than Agadir. If you're familiar with Agadir and it's what you like, then fine -- but if you're not, then you might find it a wannabe-European resort town without the finesse.
