Living in Chile
 

I am in the process of moving to Puerto Natales, Chile. I am currently looking for other expats in the country, and specifically in the southern regions.
I am looking for anyone who has made the move here and who is willing to share some of their knowledge in easing the redtape...if that could be possible!
I have been here 5 weeks and hopefully by the end of this week will have settled my first house purchase (much blood spilt)!
Unfortunately the Regional Government here in Pto Natales make up their own rules and haven´t really got a clue how I can apply for residential status. They have completely negated what the UK Chilean consulate told me back in March.
Any response will be greatly appreciated.
