Jamacan Jerk Chicken

Help!

Can anyone give me a traditional jerk chicken recipe. Years ago I went to a Respect festival in one of the London parks and had the most fantastic jerk chicken off of a paper plate sitting in the grass. It was so spicey, fantastic. Since then I have tried to cook it from various jerk pastes found in the supermarkets and all of them taste bland and nothing like what I had years ago. So can anyone give me a recipe for the real thing.
