Fitness Industry in Nairobi
Hey Im an Aussie relocating to Nairobi with my Kenyan partner. Currently I work in Fitness INdustry in SYdney (Personal Training and Aerobics etc). Can anyone tell me what the gyms are like there in Nairobi and if they offer classes and / or PT? I am thinking of possibly starting a private Personal Training business, does anyone know what starting a business entails (Registering? etc) in Kenya?!?

Hi Olivia,
The Fitness Industry in Nairobi is quite similar to what you'd find in the UK and Australia. You've got gyms with the usual aerobics and workout studios, some more fancy than others. To be able to work in Kenya you'll need a work permit... all I can say is good luck and take lots of money with you.
