I have been following the ‘back in the day’ thread with interest.
I thought it might be interesting to talk about the now. How are we keeping the wanderlust alive and kicking?
i am tapping (penning lol) this in a Trinidad institution, Smokey and Buntys bar on ariapita avenue (the infamous avenue, like the khaosan road in Bangkok) in Port of Spain in Trinidad. My bar is full of locals and not a few independents (working girls.)
I am visiting for a 2 week sojourn with my lover here, then we are off to Jamaica for carnival in Kingston then a break in Montego Bay with a Trini party host which is to say some of the planets most hardy party animals.
I hope to keep up!

I think it’s a mistake to wind down - ever - keep on travelling, partying, exercising, keeping fit, but above all enjoying oneself.
Age for me remains just a number. I remain acutely aware that this depends upon keeping healthy but given that, hedonism rules (strangely I may well visit the resort so named in the next week or two)
