Anyone moved to a Pacific Island?
Right. It's approaching winter in the UK, the economy is in meltdown and there is nothing on television. It doesn't get much worse than this. So where else is better? I've always dreamed of moving to a small island in the Pacific and rather bizzarely seem to have met a number of people who have family or friends who live in French Polynesia, Samoa etc. I'm not counting Australia or New Zealand.
Has anyone on this forum made such a move and is it worth it? How do you go about it?

Well how about the Indian Ocean, or Caribbean? Just as nice as the South Pacific, and with an EU passport you can move there no problems (many of the Islands are full EU members) eg: Reunion Island in the Indian Ocean.
