Insights on Accountancy & Audit field in Ireland.

Hi, I created this thread (http://britishexpats.com/forum/accou...dering-896994/) in other section but since, I want specific information so I am pasting it here.

What is the average age of finishing ACCA/CA/CPA/CIMA studies and start out in a practical working experience in Ireland? I am in my 30s and partially qualified ACCA but left it for some reasons. Now I wonder if I get back would it be worthwhile to continue? Considering I don't have much experience in the accounts field. Will it be worthwhile to continue my ACCA at this age? Will the firms and industry consider such candidates? I don't think that they will.
