Default illegal work in ireland??

also wondering if any aussie out there has had any luck getting work in ireland without a permit? We are looking at going back there at the end of april before going to oz, I have already had a working holiday visa so I can't get that again (or is there a way around that? Got it in 1999/2000) I did work in Galway a few years ago without a permit and just my PRSI number and no one seemed to care but have heard they have become a bit stricter since then. Also what is the procedure for getting a permit? I'm an EFL/ESOL teacher. Any clues appreciated. We are looking at either Limerick or Cork but probably Cork. Cheers again BB

Hi,
try this link:
http://www.oasis.gov.ie/employment/w...authorise.html
or in general www.oasis.gov.ie

They have become a little stricter here, but companies are still fairly happy to issue work offers (at least our aussie neighbours didn't have any problems, and they were simply working in shops, nothing too qualified...).
