I'm living in Dublin working a contract job that will end in December. I want to move from Dublin after the contract is done. It's too expensive living here. What are the job prospects like in Cork, Galway and Waterford? Most of my job experience is in Insurance doing office support and back office work.

Cork nice city and you can live in West Cork and commute. Abtram (Sky) have offices in Bishoptown and are recruiting. Rent 4 bedroom about 750 a month, but you will have to commute about an hour.

I am biased cos I live in Bantry. It is a beautiful area.

Cork's been hit bad this week with companies closing. Loads unemployed. Its the like the early 80's again.

You can't eat scenery, (the phrase goes) but poverty in a good area is so much prettier!!

I would think Office work would still be available Galway city is beautiful

Or dare I say it what about Athlone I know its way cheaper than dublin it would be some were ild consider moving
