Certified Copies of Documents
 

Does anybody know if certified copies expire after 3 months, or, more specifically, if that's the official stance of the Irish authorities? I ordered some to register as an Irish citizen, but I've been busy and struggling to find a witness, meaning it's now quickly coming to 3 months.

I intend to contact the embassy, but it's closed today I'm pretty apprehensive, so I'm just checking here to see if anybody can shed any light.
