I will be in Zurich in two months and would like to know if anybody in this
group has information about a reasonably priced hotel; one that is easy to
get to from the airport, close to old town or at least close to places worth
seeing, the touristy areas.

Hotel Adler - right in the thick of it. Clean and simple.
Typically Swiss.

If you're going to be anywhere for 2 months consider renting an
apartment.

I think what she was saying was that two months from now she will be
going to Zurich, not that she plans to stay that long.

You might want to try the Hotel Thorne, which is on Bastelplatz. It's an
ordinary toursit hotel, quite clean (as you would expect) and reasonably
priced...good location. However, their complimentary breakfasts are true
feasts...simply overwhelming...they've got some great cook who knows crepes
and omlettes and will cook to order.

I stayed at the Hotel Bristol. Someone here recommended it. I was happy
with the place. I was able to easily walk to it from the main train
station, and it is close to the old town.
