Well all I can say is that times must be changing. All my kitchen
appliances (most of which are about 3-4 years old) all have a black plug and
flex. They all just look so naff - particularly in an all white kitchen!

A quick survey shows that some small appliances, kettles, coffee makers etc.,
have black leads and plugs; big ones,washing machine, fridge, freezers, tumbler
drier have white leads and plugs. Deep fryer, ABM and toaster have white p&ls

My mixer, blender, and food processor all have white leads and plugs -
the microwave lead and plug are grey.
The fridge and freezer have black ones, as do the toaster and kettle.
The washer and dishwasher both have white.
