Default Where To Stay In Paris

My wife and grandaughter are traveling to Paris in June for a high school
graduation trip. Any recommendations for a nice hotel in district 1?

Thank you for any helpful suggestions.

You can stay elsewhere than the 1 if a hotel were more appealing, very good
underground transport in Paris

Yes, it is a nice hotel. But it's in the fourteenth, not the first.

247 Hotels in 1. arrondissement.
Near the Louvre museum you will find high end high priced hotels.
Generaly smaller hotels in the Beaubourg/Halles sector more popular
neighbourhood.

Hotel de Vendome (**** Luxe)

Hotel des victoires (***)

Hotel du Cygne (**)

Hotel du Lion d'or (basic)
http://www.hotel-louvre-paris.com/
You will see many old hotels "au lion d'or". It was a kind of joke based
on words (calembour) hotel au lit on dort.

You're welcome. The Vendme, Costes, and Renaissance Paris Vendme are
also considered nice. *Very* nice.
