Default Where to eat in Tuscany?

I'm looking for small trattoria recommendations for Tuscany. We'll be
touring in the triangle from Livorno to Florence to Siena and back to
Livorno for a day in late September.
Thanks, Tom

It will almost certainly need to be a Fast Food Outlet!

If you are doing all that in a day then a service station on the Autostrada
will be your best bet.

As the shortest way runs only on motorways but not toll autostradas,
they will not find any service station with restaurant along the route.
However, this will not be a problem as they will not have any time left
for eating :-)

(Suggestion for people with car but less hurry: reach the Galluzzo
village, near the Firenze Certosa autostrada exit - it is on the route
from Florence to Siena. At Galluzzo turn direction Montespertoli -
Volterra and climb the hill. About five kms. from Galluzzo, near Giogoli
church, on the right you will find the Bella Ciao Trattoria, specialized
in tripes that may be not to everybody's taste, but also doing excellent
Tuscan cooking at reasonable prices.)

Ooooh way too much traveling for one day. Just stay in one place. Then
you'll have time to eat.

Try "Il Pozzo", in Monteriggioni. You won't have any trouble finding
it, the town is walled and miniscule. the ristorante is right there in
the middle of town
